Symptoms of Heat Stroke:

- 💓 Fast and strong heartbeat
- 🤯 Confusion
- 😴 Passing out
Prevention:
- Stay Hydrated: Drink lots of water throughout the day, even if you’re not thirsty. Avoid sugary or caffeinated drinks.
- Dress Cool: Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothes.
- Take Breaks: Rest in the shade or indoors with air conditioning, especially during the hottest part of the day (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
- Use Sunscreen: Protect your skin from sunburn.
- Plan Wisely: Do active play early in the morning or late in the evening when it’s cooler.
Treatment:
- For Heat Exhaustion: Move to a cool place, loosen tight clothes, sip water, and put cool, wet cloths on your skin. If you don’t feel better in an hour or if you get worse, see a doctor.
- For Heat Stroke: Call 911 right away. Move to a cool place, try to cool down with cool cloths or a bath, but don’t drink anything.
